Tips For Your Visit
Some simple suggestions to put you at ease…
- What to bring. What to wear.
- We will provide a robe or facial gown for your convenience.
- We also have a shower facility if needed with shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, etc. The only thing you need to bring is your hairbrush and comb.
- If you need a special hair item, please bring that too.
- What do I wear under my robe or facial gown?
- Whatever you wish.
- It’s best to remove your underwear to protect it from getting oiled.
- Remember, your technician is a professional and will keep you covered in the appropriate areas.
- When won’t I change into a robe or facial gown?
- If you’re getting one service, for example, a facial, then we’ll have you change in the room. We don’t change for nail or hair services.
- Jewelry:
- You will be asked to place any jewelry (rings, watches, diamond ear rings, etc.) in an appropriate place within the room you will stay in.
- It will be secure, as you will always be in the same room with your articles.
- Don’t slip it into your robe pocket – it’s too easy to forget!
- Large bags, computers, etc.:
- Please don’t bring anything irreplaceable!
- All Items would be kept with you at all times, but we can’t be responsible for their security.
- Please leave them at home or in your vehicle trunk.
- If you are pregnant:
- We have a special pillow for massages.
- Please request it then you book your appointment. We’ll have it set up and waiting for you.
- We cannot do a pregnancy massage in the first trimester.
Services
- Waxing:
- Your hair need to be 1/4 inch minimum.
- This would take 3-4 weeks normal growing time.
- Facials:
- Consult with your esthetician before treatment to discuss your options, new offerings, and what might best benefit you.
- Please let her know if you prefer more massage, or if you want your pores thoroughly purged.
- It’s easier for her to meet your needs if you tell her what you want.
- Your esthetician will also make you aware of any extra charges associated with additional services that you might request.
- Our service menu is always available for your price checks.
- I forgot to book waxing. Can I get it done during my facial?
- You never know until you ask.
- Once you get into the room with you esthetician, let her know your needs. If she has time, she will absolutely accommodate you.
Etiquette
- Do I have to talk to my massage therapist or esthetician?
- If you feel like chatting, go ahead. If you don’t lie down and zone out! They will let you be their guide – but especially with your massage , you’ll enjoy simple quiet relaxation.
- Should I tip? What’s normal?
- Leaving gratuities for work well done seems to be the norm, but of course, is optional.
